ആടുകളെ ചട്ടം പഠിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ കുറെ പൊലീസുകാര്‍!

കുറച്ചു വർഷങ്ങൾക്കു മുൻപ് എൻറെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ CCD (വേദപാഠ ക്ലാസ്സിൽനിന്നു)ൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്താക്കാൻ അമേരിക്കയിലെ ഗാർലാണ്ട് പള്ളിയില നിന്നയച്ച കത്ത്. അതിനുശേഷം ഇന്നേവരെ എൻറെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾക്ക്‌ വേദപാഠം പഠിക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചിട്ടില്ല .കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭയിൽ ഇതൊരു പുതിയ സംഭവമല്ല.

I am writing this letter to you to bring to your kind attention a very important matter. As you now, our Church building is almost near completion. Even though vast majority of the parish families have pledged and paid their minimum share of 3000 towards church building we are still short of funding and the church is expecting each and every one's support and contribution.
After a lot of discussion and deliberation in the last two meetings, the Parish Council has made a decision that every CCD parent should take their share of the financial responsibility by contributing the minimum of $3000 towards the Church building project before completing this year's CCD registration. Further, the parish council has entrusted me and trusties with the responsibility of ensuring the fair implementation of this decision. I hope you will understand the situation under which Parish Council had to make this decision.
In review of your building fund contribution, I realize that you were generous enough to pledge $1500 and you have paid $0.
May I earnestly request you to pay 3000 by next Sunday (9/4/11)to meet the minimum requirement set by the Parish Council and avoid any delay of CCD registration. .........."
കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭ പരസ്യമായി അവഹേളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത് കേരളത്തില്‍ മാത്രമല്ല. ലോകത്തെവിടെ സീറോ മലബാര്‍ പൊലീസ് എത്തിയോ അവിടെയെല്ലാം സിമിന്റും കമ്പിയും ഇറങ്ങും. മനസ്സുള്ളവര്‍ കൊടുക്കുന്നത് മേടിക്കുകയെന്നല്ല, പിഴിഞ്ഞ് മേടിക്കുക എന്നതാണ് തന്ത്രം..... അതിനുള്ള പരിശീലനം ഓരോ പൊലീസിനും കൊടുത്തു വിടുന്നു. ഇതിന്റെ പേരില്‍ ആയിരം പേര്‍ പള്ളിക്ക് പുറത്തായാലും പതിനായിരം പേര്‍ നരകത്തില്‍ പോയാലും ഒരുത്തനും സ്വര്‍ഗ്ഗത്തില്‍ പോയില്ലെങ്കിലും ആര്‍ക്കും പ്രശ്നമല്ല. ഈ വിവരം കെട്ട പരദ്രോഹികളില്‍ നിന്ന് സഭയെ രക്ഷിക്കണം .....
ഇതാ പള്ളിക്ക് കാശ് കൊടുക്കാത്തതിനാല്‍ വേദപാഠം പഠിക്കാന്‍ സാധിക്കാത്ത ഒരു കുട്ടിയുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ കത്ത്. വിശ്വാസികളെ വിറ്റ് സഭയെ വളര്‍ത്തുന്ന ഇവര്‍ക്ക് സുബുദ്ധി കിട്ടാന്‍ എല്ലാവരും പ്രാര്‍ഥിക്കുക.
